Curricular Integrations
STEM Racing, supported by Formula 1®, brings the excitement and challenge of motorsport into the classroom. Students work in teams to design, analyse, build, brand, test, and race their own miniature racing cars, using real-world engineering and design processes. Along the way, they develop practical skills in CAD/CAM, project management, marketing, presentation, teamwork, and problem-solving. As part of an internationally recognised global competition.
Curricular Integrations
VEX Robotics brings engineering, coding, and problem-solving to life through hands-on robotics. Students design, build, program, test, and refine their own robots to tackle real engineering challenges and compete as part of a global robotics community. Through the process, they develop practical skills in computational thinking, engineering design, collaboration, communication, and creative problem-solving—learning to turn ideas into working solutions and respond to challenges.

TED-Ed Student Talks gives students the opportunity to discover, develop, and share ideas that matter to them. Through a guided series of explorations, students learn to think critically, research and shape their ideas into compelling TED-style talks, and give and receive meaningful feedback. They build confidence as communicators while learning to express their perspectives clearly and share their ideas with their peers, their community, and potentially audiences around the world.

TEDx at NGS gives students a platform to develop and share ideas that matter. Through campus TEDx events, students identify topics they care about, research and shape their ideas, and develop them into thoughtful, well-crafted talks. With guidance, feedback, and rehearsal, students build the confidence to communicate their ideas clearly, engage their audiences, and contribute to meaningful conversations within their school and wider community.

The Pulitzer Center brings global journalism and underreported stories into the NGS classroom. Through investigative projects, journalist-led learning, and multimedia storytelling, students explore complex issues, research evidence, question sources, and communicate what they discover. They connect global stories to their own communities while developing critical thinking, media literacy, and the confidence to become informed, engaged citizens.

The Royal Shakespeare Company brings its distinctive rehearsal-room approach to Shakespeare into the NGS learning experience. Through active exploration, performance, and collaboration, students investigate Shakespeare’s language, characters, themes, and stories. They develop communication, confidence, language, and problem-solving skills while making creative choices and discovering new ways to bring Shakespeare’s work to life.

Intel® AI for Youth gives students the knowledge and skills to understand, explore, and create with artificial intelligence. Through hands-on projects, students learn about data, coding, AI technologies, ethics, bias, and responsible use while developing solutions to real-world challenges. The program builds critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and social skills, empowering students to use AI to make a positive impact.
